Sending computer content to TV

How would I go about sending stuff (Video and the likes) to my TV. I have
WinXP, wireless Actiontec router which controls my Fiber Optics cable tv
through Verizon. With the router off I am unable to watch recorded movies so
I am assuming that I can use the same connection to send info from my
computer to the tv.

Any thoughts on this?

Re: Sending computer content to TV

likely need a tv tuner
card for your computer
to ascertain the cable
signal.

then you would need
a video adaptor to plug
into your computer so
that your tv acts like
a monitor.

not sure, but there may
be all in one cards.
