Widows xp keeps freezing

I`ve had this problem for about three months now , it began after I
installed World of Warcraft on my Pc . Initially it would boot normally
then freeze at any radom moment whilst i was surfing , until eventually it
now wont make it past the boot screen. I can get safe mode / with
networking and it all pretty much works fine.
I`ve done system restore muliple times and it would still freeze
eventually, I`ve ran anti - virus + Malware during safe mode and they`ve
come back good , checked disks for errors and nothing seems to change it .
Had it open for a clean nothing.
Remembered event viewer and heres what i found. quite a few of these

Event Type: Error
Event Source: Service Control Manager
Event Category: None
Event ID: 7026
Description:
The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
AmdK8
Fips
kl1
KLIF

then theres a bundle of these
Event Type: Error
Event Source: DCOM
Event Category: None
Event ID: 10005
Date: 13/01/2009
Time: 16:54:58
User: NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM

Description:
DCOM got error "This service cannot be started in Safe Mode " attempting to
start the service EventSystem with arguments "" in order to run the server:
{1BE1F766-5536-11D1-B726-00C04FB926AF

My Pc is an Acer Aspire L100, AMD athlon (tm)64x2 dual coreprocessor 3800+
,2.01 GHz, 960MB RAM, Pheonix - Award workstaion BIOS v6 OOPG
XP proffesional, and is its 2 years old , any ideas on this issue appreciated.

Jack

What version of World of Warcraft?

The Event Viewer Reports just refers to things that happen as a result
of your being in safe mode.

Make sure all your fans are working and the computer is free of dust.
Use an Air Duster to remove dust. Overheating could be the problem.

Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? Right click on
the My Computer icon on your Desktop and select Properties,
Hardware,Device Manager. If yes what is the Device Error code?

Select Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System
Information. Open Components under System Summary and click on Problem
Devices. Is anything listed there?

Try HD Tune it only gives information and does not fix any
problems.

Download and run it and see what it turns up. You want HD Tune
(freeware) version 2.55 not HD Tune Pro (not Freeware) version 3.00.
http://www.hdtune.com/

Select the Info tabs and place the cursor on the drive under Drive
letter and then double click the two page icon ( copy to Clipboard )
and copy into a further message.

Select the Health tab and then double click the two page icon ( copy to
Clipboard ) and copy into a further message. Make sure you do a full
surface scan with HD Tune.

I would be interested in seeing a Disk Defragmenter report . Open Disk
Defragmenter and click on Analyse. Select View Report and click on Save
As and Save. Now find VolumeC.txt in your My Documents Folder and post a
copy. Do this before running Disk Defragmenter as it is more
informative.

Hope this helps.
