| Folder Properties Hello, I don't know if this is the right news group, if not please advice where to go, thanks. When I right click on a folder and click on properties it will say that the folder contains 9 files when it actually only contains 8 files. I then clicked on "Tools - Folder Options - View" to make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" was selected so I could see if there was a hidden file. Still, there were only 8 files and "Properties" showed 9 files. Then I took an external HDD and on this computer it still shows one more file on a certain folder. When I connected the external HDD to another computer and clicked on properties for the same folder it showed the correct numbers of files in that folder. What should I do so that this computer will show the correct number of files? Also not all folders show incorrect numbers of files. Thanks, AJS |
