| defender fails to initialize When I boot up I get the message that windows defender fails to initialize - this is right after installing the latest defender update. Which update number is that so I can remove it - if THAT IS the problem?      |

The Beta version of Defender expired today. You need to uninstall it and install the latest version. The Beta version of Defender expired today. You need to uninstall it and install the latest version.
