Install Shield error - Technology Questions

Install Shield error

Hi, I recently setup a new computer and tried installing some programs
that use installshield; such as Office, Lexmark software, and Camedia
Master. When it starts to use installshield an error comes up and says
"Error extracting support files: the server threw an exception." I
have searched for awhile and cannot find anyone solutions to this
error.

Operating System is Windows XP home
