| Reboot loop after running system restore Sorry I post this on win 2000 group so I'm re-asking for XP I tried to unistall a program that I had 2 versions installed. My uninstalll program uninstalled the wrong version so I tried a system restore. After the system restore was complete the pc rebooted and is stuck in a loop. I have the option of safe mode etc "last working configuration" or just let the clock go and it will restart. No matter which option I pick it will not finish booting and just start over and over. What do I do to fix this? |

| Re: Reboot loop after running system restore Bert I can't boot in safe mode or any of the other options. If I choose Safe mode It just restarts. If I let the timer go it resarts and the loops begins. I took it to my Pc guru premature I should have tried repair install. Being a holiday I can't get access to my PC On Dec 30, 8:55 pm, Bert Kinney <b...@NSmvps.org> wrote: > Hi, > > Can you boot into Safe Mode and undo the restore point? > > Regards, > Bert Kinney MS-MVP Shell/Userhttp://bertk.mvps.org > Member:http://dts-l.org > > sprocket wrote: > > Sorry I post this on win 2000 group so I'm re-asking for XP > > I tried to unistall a program that I had 2 versions installed.
