Hello All,

I posted here, because I could not find any WIndows2000 Pro forum, but I
think this could happen in XP as well. When attempting to log on to a network
domain I get the following error (note, this is not a roaming profile)
"Windows cannot load the profile and is logging you in with a temporary
profile" and for details "an i/o operation initiated by the registry failed
unrecoverably".

Any ideas?
