Outlook & WinFax Pro

Hi, I would be grateful for some help. For some reason unknown to me, I'm
not able to use my Microsoft Outlook at all when trying to send emails using
Word. the application hangs each time I tried to compose a mail, or when I
try to send a mail. I've not tried using other applications.
When an error report is sent, I'm told it's to do with WinFax Pro. I
followed the instructions but can't locate such a program in my system at
all.
Furthermore, I now also have this prompt that says 'a program is trying to
access your email addresses...'.

Help!

Thanks.

Ceepee

Re: Outlook & WinFax Pro

Its a problem that seems to have appeared recently (winfaxpro) even when
winfaxpro is not and has not been installed.
There have been no fixes posted
An MVP reported that MS were aware of the problem and were looking into it.

You might want to post to an Outlook newsgroup such as:
microsoft.public.outlook.general

Make sure you specify what version of outlook and provide some history of
the problem. Did it ever work? When did it stop, what changes were made
between the time it worked and when it stopped.

Thanks I saw your post after I sent mine. At least they now know were to go
for Outlook related issues and for the fix for this issue if/when it
happens.
