Widescreen Remote desktop

I have a client that got injured and will be working remotely the next few
months... His laptop (at home) will be used to access his desktop (office)...
The laptop has a standard screen size while his office computer is using a
widesceen monitor... Each time I connect him using Remote Desktop there are
wide black borders on both sides of the screen.... I have tried adjusting the
resolution of the desktop (office) to a standard ratio, but it is still
showing up with borders.... How can I get a full sceen image of his desktop
on to his laptop, with remote desktop?

Thanks in advance for any and all assistance...
