FOLDER OPTIONS *file types*

hi can anyone help! my file extensions have gone for (audioCD,Drive,DVD
Video,File folder,Folder,help and support center protocol,internet
shortcut,intervideo media file,speeddial,url:callto protocol,+ a load of
others) i cant open control panel or my computer a error msg keeps on comin
up sayin "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing
this action and its sayin to create and association in the folder options,
How do i do this and wot file extensions and associated file types am i
suppose to use if anyone can help plz email me @ worm20newqs********.co.uk
would be greatly appriciated

Try a System Restore to a date before the problem first occurred. If
that doesn't help, try the following:

Fix File Associations.
