| Problems with Windows taskbar The taskbar at the bottom of the windows desktop has suddenly decided to become two lines thick. I've tried to drag and drop to reduce it to 1 line, but it just gives the choice of 2 lines or no lines. I've also rebooted and this hasn't made a difference. Any suggestions of what to do? |

| RE: Problems with Windows taskbar I'm not an expert, but this happened to someone at work...is the taskbar locked? We had to unlock the taskbar before it would allow her to go to one line. Hope it works for you! bunky "Wallace" wrote: > The taskbar at the bottom of the windows desktop has suddenly decided to > become two lines thick. What often happens is that the end "margin" of the QuickLaunch toolbar has gotten so far over to the right that it is now down below. Unlock the Taskbar and then "grab" the dotted line on the bottom bar and drag it up to immediately to the right of the QuickLaunch icons. Now you've successfully made the QuickLaunch toolbar shorter and can "grab" the top bar of the Taskbar and "push" it down to the regular one-tier height.
