| Re: Data Execution Prevention on a Microsoft Program I read through the explanation but not sure if I follow it all. The DEP error message comes on and locks up my system in several areas but are not applications so I don't know how to turn it off. One of them is in my F: drive which is a secondary drive I put in so I could download video from my camcorder which takes up lots of space. When I click on my F icon and it opens it up to show me the folders, the DEP error message pops up. How can I turn this off? Any help would be greatly appreciated because this is very irritating. Thanks!!! Icemelter "Pennywise@DerryMaine.Gov" wrote: > Stephen F.
