Which of these $ files can I safely delete?

Everything (IE7, WMP11 etc etc) is working fine. Which of these $ files can
I delete from the c:\Windows directory?

$NtServicePackUninstallIDNMitigationAPIs$
$NtServicePackUninstallNLSDownlevelMapping$
$NtUninstallKB923694$
$NtUninstallKB925398_WMP64$
$NtUninstallKB926239$
$NtUninstallKB926255$
$NtUninstallMSCompPackV1$
$NtUninstallWMFDist11$
$NtUninstallwmp11$
$NtUninstallWudf01000$

Some like KB923694 are pretty obvious but what about those "ServicePack"
files? What are they from? I ditched the SP2 backup files ages ago.

I believe these are associated with the IE7 install. Best to ask in the
internet explorere newsgroup. Google search suggests they can be remove.

These look like the uninstall files from window update.

I don't know about those. Google for them. Also you might want to check
the media player newsgroup.
