| Re: Recycle Bin * no files showing, but they are there!! I don't know how to send an "empty" notepad file to recycle bin. I don't know how to save an empty file. I sent a notepad file to recycle bin; it doesn't appear but the total count of files has increased by 1 file. | Re: Recycle Bin * no files showing, but they are there!! You just create a new text document and then delete it. It doesn't always work but sometimes it does and it's a pretty easy thing to try. You can right click an empty area on your desktop then click on "New" to create the Text Document. Then just send it on its merry way to the Recycle Bin. If that doesn't do anything then you can try deleting the recycler folder(s), Windows will recreate it when you reboot. From a command prompt issue the following command: rd /s /q c:\recycler Remember that if you have more than one drive you will have to issue the command for each drive, changing the c: with the appropriate drive letter.
