Error-checking

Upon right-clicking on a drive in "My Computer" and selecting Properties, we
are presented with a box with four tabs..."General" "Tools" "Hardware" and
"Security". In the Tools tab, we have the option to check the disk for
errors. I do this about once a month. In the check disk options, I do not
select anything and then hit Start. It only takes a few minutes and then a
dialogue box pops up simply indicating the the task is completed. Does this
mean there were no errors found? I find no way of viewing a report.

Re: Error-checking

How to view the Chkdsk Log Entry:-
You will find the chkdsk log entry in the Application log of Event Viewer.
To access the Event Viewer
.. Go to Control Panel > Administrative Tools> Event Viewer > Application.
.. Look for the Event from the source "WinLogon".
