getting message "the instruction at "ox62304390" referenced memory

Getting message that the instruction at "ox62304390" referenced memory could
not be "read". Click on O.k. to terminate the program.
What does this mean and how do I fix it? It is popping up when I exit off
certain functions like email, etc...
Also, we have been getting reccomendations to download Internet explorer 7.
Have they worked out the bugs on that? When I downloaded it before, it was
terrible, could not organize favorites at all.
