YES, remember my member ID and password so that I don't have to si

Recently I have to re-enter a password everytime I go to websites where I
have created passwords. I have chacked the "YES, remember my member ID and
password so that I don't have to sign in each time". Everytime I go back to
the site the box is not checked. I have looked at the autocomplete and all
boxes are checked. Can someone help with this? thank you Els

You might have better luck if you post in a group for IE.

Have you enabled Cookies for each of these websites?

Just a guess: are you clearing your cookies? If so, that's why.

RE: YES, remember my member ID and password so that I don't have to si

A program like I have installed on my computer, "CCleaner" has, as part of
its tools / functions, a "clear history" feature. It will delete all cookies
every time I use it. Unless I have saved the ones I want to keep! Are you
using a program that deletes (cleans up) your files for you every time you
use it? Even the "Delete All" function in Internet Tools / Internet Options
will do this if you or someone has used it? Just a thought.
