does anybody of you know, if someone ever tried to run win95 within a
XP window? What do you think, is that possible?

Not within a Window, which doesn't provide the correct environment.
However, Virtualization is very popular now. You can use Microsoft
Virtual PC for free. With it you create Virtual PCs. On my desktop I've
got VPCs dating back to Windows 98 that I can bring up in just a few
seconds. Only downside to VPC (2004) is no native support for USB.

Not within an XP window. Get either Virtual PC or VMWare and create a
virtual machine. I've got VPC 2004 on my XP box and have virtual
machines running DOS, Win3.1, Win95, Win98SE, and OS/2.
