There are small little icons on the bottom of the computer screen, next
to the start buttom. I am sure they have a specific name but I don't
know it.

Anyway, earlier, when I made a window smaller, they were down there and
when I clicked on them, they became big again. It was easy to go back
and forth beween Internet pages.

But these days, I logged in my computer and when I open Firefox and the
new IE 7, I don't get these little windows on the buttom anymore. When
I make the windows smaller, the windows are completely gone. I can't go
back and forth anymore. There are not more there.

How come? How can I get them back?

IE7 features tabbed browsing, making it even easier to go between websites.
As far as I know, Firefox has always had the tabbed browsing feature.

Look for >> in the upper right hand corner of IE. Then click on HELP and
then INTERNET EXPLORER TOUR. This should explain tabbed browsing to you.

You might want to go to this web site and run the script on
line 240 left hand column, Programs Aren't Minimized in the
Taskbar
