Computer shuts down

While working on my computer it justs all of a sudden retstarts itself I have
ran my virus and spyware programs and they have found nothing wrong its just
shuts down without warning can give me any ideas on what should check or be
looking for, Thanks

Right click on My Computer > Properties > Advanced tab > Startup and
Recovery Settings button > untick Automatically Restart. The next time
it happens, you will get a BSOD with an error report. Use Google to
research the error number.

Alias, who thinks it's probably hardware.

Random shut downs are usually associated with a hardware problem. Check for
overheating to start with.

If you added some hardware lately, exceeding the Power Supply maximum load
can crash a system. Replace PSU by a heavier one.
