I get "insert disk" message when accessing dvd drive from explorer

I get "insert disk" message when accessing dvd drive from explorer (there is
disk inside). From cmd.exe I get "invalid function" when trying to access dvd
drive.
There is no hardware failure and the disk is ok. Other tools (like ultra
iso) can read de cd.
If i install daemon tools or alcohol virtual drives, i get de same message
when trying to access these new virtual drives.
I tried to remove the dvd from the device manager and the same message
remains.
I tried Microsoft Autoplay repair wizard.
I search the upperfilter and lowerfilter keys in
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} and they are not there.
I will appreciate any help.

Sorry for the poor English, but I am Spanish
Sorry for the multiposting too (previously posted in hardware, with no answer)
