| Power Failure and at boot XP can´t find 2Wire USB Remote NDIS Ethe Greetings, During a lightning storm, the power failed. Upon reboot, a message indicated that new hardware had been found. I tried getting the drivers from the Windows XP Installation CD as well as other CDs, to no avail. This seems related to a USB 2.0 port? However, I am not sure. Can anyone help? In the hardware configuration the drivers it is trying to look for are 2Wire USB Remote NDIS Ethernet. I am trying the knowledge base in parallel, but my initial search yielded nothing. Thank you. Jean-Pierre P.S. This is the second time in as many weeks that I loose sofware in an abnormal shutdown... |

| RE: Power Failure and at boot XP can´t find 2Wire USB Remote NDIS Ethe This is not related to windows for drivers, I would look at the manufactors web site of your ethernet card, it's looking for it on your USB plugs. | RE: Power Failure and at boot XP can´t find 2Wire USB Remote NDIS sgopus, Thank you for the response. Some research on the internet reveleaded that the drivers are related to the wireless router modem connected to the machine. It is manufactured by 2wire and sold by the local internet provider. I am contacting both. Meanwhile, internet connectivity is ok, but I have not powered down the modem. I am hoping only wireless is affected.
