Sorry, not enough information to get focused help. Let's try and narrow down
the troubleshooting:

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time things
worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the malware/virus
status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what programs (and
versions) did you use to determine this?

Be sure the computer is clean:

I'm so sorry that you haven't recovered from your accident, Chris.
Apparently the horror of going off a cliff has caused you to think you are
an MS-MVP when you aren't. Nor should anyone download files from a website
which hosts pr0n.

Do you really want to trust someone that was banned from posting
directly to Microsoft Usenet servers, someone that has posted links to
pornographic materials on HIS WEBSITE, who's website is in the MVP HOST
Block list, and who provides a tool for your use that will block access
to reputable anti-malware sites without telling you he's doing it?

And do you really want to trust someone that has had to change their
posting identity after being busted by MS as a fake MVP?

Thanks Malke and Leythos. I'm using Symantec Antivirus Corporate Ed
10.0.1.1000 and so far everything's well. I had Spybot scanned the
system too. It's clean I suppose.

I hope I understand the first question: Explorer even crash today
while I left it idle. Could these crashes be caused by hardware or
purely software?

Realized there were a few different fault addresses as well as
faulting module:

Address>>

0x03ff1da4
0x02f81da4

faulting module _axshlex.dll, version 1.9.6.4617, fault address
0x00001da4.

All I did when these happened was to end it and restart it in Task
manager but it's a hassle to do it so often.

Again, thank you MS-MVPs. Cheers!

When you upgrade 10, do not use 10.1.5, get 10.1.7 or newer. 10.1.5 has
many issues that cause strange network problems.

If you've cleaned your computer and still have issues, then you either
didn't clean it completely or the malware corrupted enough that it is
now unstable.

This is really good additional information. As Lethos said, the
faulting .dll belongs to Alcohol 120%. Unless him, I don't think you've
picked up malware. Alcohol 120% has always been problematic. Make sure you
have the latest version/patches, etc. If you don't use it, uninstall it. If
you really really want it, see if they have a users forum.
