(Copy) Paste Problems / Screen Shots

When I use the Print Screen button on my keyboard, or use <CTRL>+C and
<CTRL>+V functions and then try to Paste into WORD, PAINT, Notebook, NotePad,
etc.... the only item that is Pasted is an empty box (outline) with no image
or text (within). I've tried all accepted ways of executing these functions
with no success. Looked for Settings that might prevent these functions,
found none. Any solutions?
