| File Folder loses 'File Type' I have a File Folder that has had it's 'File Type' wiped out. The folder now has the icon of a file that has no file association, and although it has over 2GB of data within it, only reads a size of 544 KB. The data must still be there, as there has been no change in the amount of data on the disc as a whole. Error-checking did nothing, and I can not run chkdsk as it tells me the volume is in use. And when I schedule a check at next reboot, it checks the C drive, and this is the D drive I am having issues with. I need to get access to this data, can anyone assist? |
