| Re: Third party email client as default mail client Can't find it in the browser, but Pegasus Mail is selected in internet options under 'Start-configuration settings-internet options-applications' (apologies for the loose translation... i've got a dutch windows version), so I would expect it to be registered as the default mail client, but even when I click 'reply sender' in outlook express, I get the same error message. Any other ideas? | Re: Third party email client as default mail client Try this: Open Explorer, tools, folder options, file types tab. Scroll down to .eml, highlight it, click the change button and select Pegasus. -- Regards Ron Badour MS MVP Shell User <rouke.bakker@paradise.net.nz> wrote in message news:4871f84d@clear.net.nz... > Can't find it in the browser, but Pegasus Mail is selected in internet > options under 'Start-configuration settings-internet options-applications' > (apologies for the loose translation... i've got a dutch windows version), > so I would expect it to be registered as the default mail client, but even > when I click 'reply sender' in outlook express, I get the same error > message. > > Any other ideas? > > Rouke > > "Still learning" <notrealaddy@rukidding.com> schreef in bericht > news:u19KKh03IHA.2060@TK2MSFTNGP02.phx.gbl... >> The way I did it was...in your browser...tools...internet >> options...programs... *email*...make sure Pegasus Mail is >> selected...click apply, and voila! >> >> >> <rouke.bakker@paradise.net.nz> wrote in message >> news:48704d55$1@clear.net.nz... >>> Hello, >>> >>> How can I register my preferred email client (Pegasus Mail) as the >>> default Windows email client so that Pegasus opens when I select send to >>> from e.g. Word? >>> >>> Regards, >>> >>> >> >> > > |
