XP can not recognize second HDD

I added a new samsung spint point F1 1T hard disk (SATA) to my PC
(dell dimension 5100, which had a 250G HDD as SATA master already) .
The bios can see the new hard disk correctly. Also the boot disk
Samsung provided can see it, format it.
But when I log in XP (SP3), the new driver can not be see anywhere,
either in Disk Management or device manager.

Any suggestion ?

Is there any special driver for SATA? Shouldn't the driver come with
XP for the controller enough?
