Internal Card Reader Problem

I have the Compal Hel80, it has Ene Card Reader (CB 714), I installed
the drivers, everything went fine, but I don't see the disk drives on
My Computer, what is weird is my camera does create a Removable Disk
Drive on My PC, any comments would be appreciated.

There are newer card readers which activates their drives
when a card is inserted only. So a driveletter appears when
a card is inserted.

Thanks for your help, now I notice the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon,
when I inserted a card, which means there's a chance you are right, I
will fully test it later, thanks.
