It would help if you would post what fixes you have tried so someone doesn't post one of those and then you respond with, I tried that before and it didn't help. |

It always used to give an error message, and I have unchecked it. I do a manual synchro once in a while, using nistime-32bit.exe, downloadable from ftp://time.nist.gov/pub/daytime/nistime-32bit.exe. It is a small program (266,843 b) and has been working quite well. At the same time, I doubt whether time can really be synchronized to an accuracy of a few milliseconds or even to one-tenth of a second. |
