I recently loaded XP SP3. The upgrade was successful. No errors. However,
the O/S now produces the following error:

Error box is titled: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.

Error box message is:
Runtime Error!

Program: C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\wmiprvse.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual
way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

I cannot locate a fix for this error anywhere. Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated.

I also encountered this problem after installed XP SP3, exactly the same
Runtime error alert message before user login PC.

I thought the problem was isolated to my work laptop. Now I see this error
message showing up on my Vaio laptop, also running XP SP3.

I also have the same problem with another software. But, unfortunately nobody
seems to want to help us. Shame :(
