RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove But I still have the windows live folders and can run windows messenger. Should I delete these folders? Any advice would be appreciated. I have windows xp home version 5.1 (build 2600.....service pack 2) I have Windows live messenger version 2008 (build 8.5.1302.1018) (which I dont want!!!) |

| Re: Uninstall windows live messenger - How do I uninstall. It sounds like you unchecked it in add remove windows components. That just stops it from running at startup. You need to uninstall it from add remove programs hope this helps "Chris XP" <ChrisXP@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9CAD4A55-82BF-4AAC-9C8D-5F52FB7EFC55@microsoft.com... > I have tried lots ways..... > > Add remove programs.....windows messenger is unchecked. > > RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove > > But I still have the windows live folders and can run windows messenger. > > Should I delete these folders?
