| Fonts -- VERY DESPERATE! Finalized a catalog at home in CT -- client has urgent beyond-final-minute changes and I'm in FL so I asked my son to FedEx down a disk that has everything on it, including fonts. TrueType fonts are no problem. But trying to install PostScript fonts I'm getting one of two error messages: 1. "Unable to install the font. File <FONT> is either invalid or damaged." OR 2. "The copyright holder of <FONT> will not allow their font to be converted to TrueType. Please contact the font vendor for more information." I've never had this happen doing this catalog before and share the fonts with the printer all the time to mass print. If I can't figure out what the problem is in the next hour or two I have to fly home tomorrow from this beautiful Sarasota to the Northeast and I'm begging for help!!! Thanks to anyone who can help me! -- judie |

| Re: Fonts -- VERY DESPERATE! Have you tried going on Google and typing in a phrase like "can't install postscript fonts" ? ISnt postscript an Adobe font anyways?. Enjoy Sarasota, I miss it , I moved to the NE and hate it. -- marx404 _________________ "judie" <magyartuzer@comcast.net> wrote in message news:44733011-EBA2-4B59-B841-1266E56DD280@microsoft.com... > Finalized a catalog at home in CT -- client has urgent beyond-final-minute > changes and I'm in FL so I asked my son to FedEx down a disk that has > everything on it, including fonts. | Re: Fonts -- VERY DESPERATE! Hello judie I've only just seen your post -- hope it's not too late for you! Have you ever used ATM, particularly version 4.0, on the problem machine? This seems to be a problem caused by it changing a registry entry. Details and a fix available from Adobe here: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...ernalId=328779 Hope this helps :-). Let us know how it goes. -- Nightowl judie <magyartuzer@comcast.net> wrote on Fri, 16 May 2008: >Finalized a catalog at home in CT -- client has urgent beyond-final-minute >changes and I'm in FL so I asked my son to FedEx down a disk that has >everything on it, including fonts.
