Outlook Express 6 email messages from my older account

OS with Windows XP SP3
I had a complete system restore with CD recently because of bad problems.
I saved my old OE6 email account backup before doing so with removable device.
Now I am back with fresh sets of everything including OE6.
I am trying to figure out whether it is possible importing my previous backup
email messages. So far I failed importing the older .dbx files, it is unable
to
retrieve.

How did you back the dbx files?

Did you include Folders.dbx in the backup? A conventional import will fail
if you didn't.

If Folders.dbx was included in the backup, all you need to do is to copy the
backup to your HDD and remove the Read Only attribute for all the dbx files.
Open OE and import from a store directory and point to where you save them.

Why ask HERE? Do you see OE in this group's title? NO.

Ask elsewhere

This IS his date. It's all he can do. I think his disability payments
ran out.
