| Post SP3 Mystery CMD Window After installing SP3 I now have a mysterious CMD window appear whenever I login. It flashes by so quickly that I can't see if there is anything in it. I've used SysInternals AutoRuns and the only thing I can guess at is Office Genuine Advantage. But that was there pre-SP3 and produced no CMD window. Any ideas? Thanks. |

Have you tried re-starting a couple times instead of just logging off and back on? -- Terry R. ***Reply Note*** Anti-spam measures are included in my email address. Restarting the PC and logging off/on both have the same result. This has happened on all 10 of the PCs I have upgraded to SP3. Yes, there are 2 CMD windows after the first reboot, and they stay around for a few seconds. But on all subsequent (over 5) reboots or re-logins, the CMD windows pops up momentarily. |
