| Restoring Desktop Icon to Quick Launch I looked down at my Quick Launch tool bar, and my Desktop icon was gone. I am quite sure I had not deleted it, and I do not have an overflow section. I rebooted my PC thinking it may have been a quirk and it would return on reboot. It did not. I did a System Restore to two days earlier when I konw the Desktop icon was there. Still it did not return. Can anyone tell me how to reinstate the Desktop icon to the Quick Launch tool bar? Any help would be appreciated. Ted |

| RE: Restoring Desktop Icon to Quick Launch In fact this isn't a normal shortcut, it's a textfile with the name"ShowDesktop.scf" and the contents: [Shell] Command=2 IconFile=explorer.exe,3 [Taskbar] Command=ToggleDesktop You can recreate it with Notepad or the like. |
