Is it possible to connect to two netwoks simultaneously? I would like to

Please advise. Many thanks.

Yes, you can do this but you need to decide which is
the preferred network for your Internet access.

Also, both networks must not use the same IP subnet scheme.

Is this a question? We can't guess what you're trying to
ask but never quite get around to spelling out!

The two networks must:

1) Not use the same IP address subnet
Exaomple:
a) wireless network -- 192.168.1.xxx
b) wired network -- 192.168.2.xxx

2) Default gateway -- must only be set on ONE network -- for your, it
should be
the wireless network

3) Set and use different network "access" metrics. The lower the
network metrics, the higher the "prirority" (faster) the
"corresponding" would be chosen to be access first.

However, please note that I have never sent these settings up since it
is complex to have two different networks with in the "same" building,
unless you are using multiple routers to separate the different
networks.

Why two networks? To set up most wireless networks, you require a
wireless router. Several routers offer 4 network "jacks" for wired
network access and wireless signal for wireless access. Routers route
any request to the correct "network":

-- For printer / files sharing -- local access over the network
-- Internet access when required.

Set up the 4 wired "jacks" need to use a "private" IP address subnet,
which can not be directly seen from the Internet (part of the IP
address specifications)
