The lower the network metrics, the higher the "prirority" (faster) the "corresponding" would be chosen to be access first. However, please note that I have never sent these settings up since it is complex to have two different networks with in the "same" building, unless you are using multiple routers to separate the different networks. Why two networks? To set up most wireless networks, you require a wireless router. Several routers offer 4 network "jacks" for wired network access and wireless signal for wireless access. Routers route any request to the correct "network": -- For printer / files sharing -- local access over the network -- Internet access when required. Set up the 4 wired "jacks" need to use a "private" IP address subnet, which can not be directly seen from the Internet (part of the IP address specifications) |
