i.e. latest version

Since downloading the latest version of I.E. last week, I often have the Dial
up window opening which I click Connect to continue. I use Broadband and have
done for many months without any problem. If i ignoe the dial up window ,the
system hangs so I have to click connect although my Broadband connection is
still live. Has anyone any ideas or is this a bug in the new version. The
occasions are fairly rare but nevertheless annoying. Any help appreciated.

I've not used the new version, but it will probably be to do with your
connection settings

Tools > Internet Options > Connections (for IE 6) .. maybe similar in IE7

If it's still there in IE7 then you can set options like 'never dial a
connection' and choose your default connection etc

For IE7 issues you should post to the internet explorer newsgroup, but first
look through the postings there for any similar situations and solutions.
