| Cannot any more drag & drop files on desktop shortcut icons? Since a few days I cannot any more drag & drop files on desktop shortcut icons. When I click on one of these shortcut icons the underlying referred programs start as usual. But I wonder why the don't accept dragged files any more. This seems to be an WinXP issue because all icons do not accept dragged files. Whats wrong ? How can I enable dragging again? Michael |

| RE: Cannot any more drag & drop files on desktop shortcut icons? To enable dragging and dropping, do the following: Right click "Start." Click on "Properties," and then the "Start Menu" tab. Click on the "Customize..." button, and then the "Advanced" tab. Check the "Enable dragging and dropping" box in the "Start menu items" window. Click "OK" and "OK."
