| q about specifying domain in LMHOSTS hey I got a winXP (pro with sp2) machine and a win2k3 machine. From the winxp machine I can ping the win2k3 machine. The win2k3 machine is a domain controller: test.local. win2k3 machine can ping winxp machine But from winxp machine I cannot ping test.local so I thought about setup LMHOSTS at the winxp machine my question is this: #DOM:DOMAIN_NAME, should I here put the the netbios name (TEST) or the full active directory name (TEST.LOCAL) any suggestions? |
