Re: MS to end availability of Win XP OS by 6/08!!!!

I don't understand what you are trying to do. Retail availability ends in
June but mainstream support continues until April 2009 and extended support
until April 2014. If you need more copies of XP buy them now.

What are you referring to as "system recovery"? If you have XP Home
installed now you should use an imaging program such as Acronis True Image
to make a backup and then store the backup safely.

If you have a computer that you got with Vista preinstalled there is no XP
on it to "recover."

What makes you even THINK of such a question!??

I think the gene pool is in some really bad need of cleansing.

for harvesting ?

If you think I'm worried about getting my email harvested, you don't
have a clue.

Your "look" was definitely selective.

Still, I couldn't care less what you think of me.

Good bye and good riddance.

I don't know why folks bother to tell another poster they are killfiling
them. If you don't plan to talk to somebody anymore why not
just...well...not talk to them? If I were to killfile somebody I would just
do it without comment. Unless of course it is all just a game.

Perhaps they actually believe they are impressing someone with their
"technical knowledge"?

Or a childish wish to say "I'll teach you!" That and naively supposing that
they can get the last word in.

Re: MS to end availability of Win XP OS by 6/08!!!!

Yes, rather ignorant, and counter productive, as the "target" merely
obsoletes the "kill file" by nymshifting, and beating the "child" at
their own "game". :-)
