When trying to transfer files from old to new computer, get part way through
operation,get window asking for new computers password. No matter what I do,
I get error message stating that I can not finish transffering files. How can
I solve this?

Assuming you did not password protect your new PC.
Try this: Press Enter when asked for a password.
