| Virtual Machine License question Hi All, I am plannng (on another machine, if you read a previous post of mine) to run XP as a guest instance on a virtual machine using Parallels for Linux. License question: If I run two or more guest instances (on the same hardware, through Parallels) of XP at the same time, is this allowed for by the XP license? Many thanks, -T |

| Re: Virtual Machine License question No. Each installation of Windows XP, whether installed on conventional hardware or in a virtual machine environment, requires it own distinct license. -- Carey Frisch Microsoft MVP Windows Shell/User --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "ToddAndMargo" wrote: | Hi All, | | I am plannng (on another machine, if you read a previous | post of mine) to run XP as a guest instance on a virtual machine | using Parallels for Linux. | | License question: If I run two or more guest instances (on the same | hardware, through Parallels) of XP at the same time, is this allowed | for by the XP license? | | Many thanks, | -T |
