Security services for security center is turned off.... How...?

HI,

I posted this b4 and noone was able to explain how to turn it back on...

The computer is: Gateway, win xp home edition with SP2, 3.2 ghz, and 1 gig
ram...

It will update on its own, the firewall keeps turning it's self off... The
screen just doesn't look normal... There is a paragraph bascially saying
that the security center services have been turned off, or never started...
And under neath that paragraph there are 3 icons, one that says internet
options, firewall options, and another I cannot remember rite now.... There
is nothing else in the security center...

I know I should run anti-spyware and such, but how do you turn this back on?
I was told to go into control panel, then management tools, only there is
not an option for this PC called management tools in control panel.........

You won't be able to "turn it back on" until you resolve the problem(s).

Unexplained computer behavior may be caused by deceptive software

Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log
to an appropriate forum.

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware with
assistance from an expert. **Post your log to
http://forums.spybot.info/forumdisplay.php?f=22,
http://castlecops.com/forum67.html,
http://forums.subratam.org/index.php?showforum=7,
http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30, or other appropriate forums for review
by an expert in such matters, not here.**

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.
