Make sure you don't have any extraneous Nvidia programs running at startup. After installing Nvidia drivers, you will get a desktop control app in the taskbar that can cause problems. Use msconfig to disable them. If you see NvCplDaemon, NvMcTray and Nwiz on the Startup tab, uncheck the boxes since none of those are required. How to Troubleshoot By Using the Msconfig Utility in Windows XP - http://support.microsoft.com/?id=310560 2. If that doesn't help, then try a different keyboard.
