Any programs that will unroll and roll windows like a shade?

Hello!

I used to use WinShade and FreeShade in older Windows. However, they
don't work very well in XP Pro. SP2. Are there any other freeware
programs that can roll up and roll down my windows with double clicking
on the menu bar (doesn't maximize and restore like default Windows
behavior)?

Thank you in advance. :)

Re: Any programs that will unroll and roll windows like a shade?

Ah, I don't want to use the bloated Window Blind from Stardock. I don't
need to decorate my GUIs. Just a roll up and down like a real windows
shade. Mac OS X (a third party) and Linux (KDE3) can do this. :)

"This is what metaphor is. It is not saying that an ant is an elephant.
Perhaps; both are alive. No. Metaphor is saying the ant is an elephant.
Now, logically speaking, I know there is a difference. If you put
elephants and ants before me, I believe that every time I will correctly
identify the elephant and the ant. So metaphor must come from a very
different place than that of the logical, intelligent mind. It comes
from a place that is very courageous, willing to step out of our
preconceived ways of seeing things and open so large that it can see the
oneness in an ant and in an elephant." --Natalie Goldberg

Re: Any programs that will unroll and roll windows like a shade?

Great program, Ricky. Too bad it's old and my middle button doesn't seem
to do anything on two XP Pro. SP2 machines.

AFAIK, Windows is/has the only window manager that doesn't.

Somewhere, I saw a project to port X11 to Win32...
Not going to be massively efficient, since it runs on top of the full
Windows OS, but it'd probably get you shading.

Yeah, that's too much there. WinRoll is good enough. Thanks. :)
