| Audio for Phone Dialer... Can anyone tell me how I can configure XP Phone Dialer to use my soundcard/speakers for audio? Right now Phone Dialer dials in complete silence, so I have no idea what is happening on the other side. I've mucked around with every XP audio setting imaginable; nothing! I can confirm that my sound card, speakers, modem, and phone line all work properly, when used separately. |

This would probably be because you're wanting to use features of the speakerphone modem, and so the speakers may have to be attached to the modem, not the soundcard. If your modem doesn't have speakerphone functions, options start with getting one that does. Check the modem manuals. HTH -pk |
