Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-069

I already have Flash 7.0 r19 (NPSWF32.dll file version 7.0.19.0).
MS06-069 cites Flash 6. Why does Windows Update tell me I need to
update Flash?

Re: Microsoft Security Bulletin MS06-069

I would recommended that you uninstall your current
version of Flash Player, then download the latest version.
Older versions of the Flash Player have security issues.

But my "older version" is newer than version 6. It's Flash 7.0 r19
(NPSWF32.dll file version 7.0.19.0). The security alert seems to
indicate that the problem does not exist for version 7 and newer.

Or is there a disconnect between the version number contained within the
plug-in and the actual version?
