| Desktop problem I tried to copy a shortcut of a webpage to my desktop, but somehow managed to copy the actual page onto it. It sits on top of my wallpaper, but beneath the desktop icons. I cannot get rid of it. It does not show up in the desktop folder in File Explorer, nor in any of the desktop folders in the Document and Settings area. Also my desktop icons are now stuck in place. Thanks in advance. |

| RE: Desktop problem Try this: 1. Click Start - Control Panel - open Display 2. Click Desktop tab 3. Click Customize Desktop button 4. Click Web tab and uncheck all the items under web pages if that doesn't help then: 5. Uncheck "Lock Desktop Items" option in the same Windows and try resizing and closing that web page on desktop. Hope this help, let us know! "Hagar" wrote: > I tried to copy a shortcut of a webpage to my desktop, but somehow managed > to copy the actual page onto it.
