IE 7 crash due to Adobe Flash Player Active X (version 9.0.115.0)

For a couple of weeks I am facing the following problem: when browsing on
different web sites suddenly the Internet Explorer 7 freezes. I received a
notification error that the freeze is generated by the Adobe Flash Player
ad-on. After I uninstall Adobe Flash Player Active X (version 9.0.115.0) the
problem disappear but I can not see movies on other websites (You Tube).
I would appreciate a solution to this annoying problem.
Thanks

Did you try to reinstall?
See the link for other possible solutions:

I've had the same problem--and quickly wrote a little something that
allows me to keep Flash disabled most of the time. It's called Toggle
Flash and you can download it from http://flash.melameth.com.

An update to Adobe/Macromedia Flash is to be released in April. Leave the
Flash player ActiveX uninstalled until then. Or as a workaround install
SpywareBlaster 4.0 and disable flash player from inside SB 4.0 unless you
need it to view a website.

I had the same problem with my new computer (windows vista). Here's
how I solved the problem after trying everything else:
Open Internet Explorer/ Tools/ Internet Options/ Advanced/
Reset
Reset IE to manufacturer settings, flash player will be removed, then
go to adobe to install a new flash player.
It worked for me.
