Microsoft Update schedule

Hi all,

I recently upgraded from Windows Update to Microsoft Update.

When i try to schedule the updates from Control Panel -> Automatic
updates, i select a time, I hit ok and it saves the settings. But it
doesn't install the updates on that time.

Furthermore, if i select the option of scheduling the updates from the
microsoft updates webpage, i click the option on the right column of
the page and I see that the time is set at 03:00 o'clock. If i change
it and click ok, it reverts back to 03:00 when I open the dialog again.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Re: Microsoft Update schedule

A1. Is the computer connected to the internet at this time?

A2. Options/settings in several third-party applications may be disallowing
the change. These include Ad-aware's Ad-Watch, Spybot Tea Timer,
SpywareBlaster, SpySweeper, Norton AntiVirus, McAfee VirusScan and/or
Antispyware, and Zone Alarm (Free and Pro).
